1. About us

This website is run by Avalon Fungi, Unit C1, Northover Buildings, Glastonbury, Somerset BA6 9NU (info@avalonfungi.co.uk). By placing an order you agree to these terms. They don’t affect your statutory rights.

2. Our products

  • Our tinctures are food supplements, not medicines. They contain alcohol (25% vol.), so you must be 18 or over to order.
  • Mushrooms are natural, so colour, taste and sediment can vary slightly between batches. This isn’t a fault.
  • Photos are for illustration. Always follow the label on the bottle you receive.

3. Health and safe use

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on this website is medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you take medication or have a medical condition, speak to your GP before use. Stop use and seek advice if you have any reaction. Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children.

4. Orders and payment

Prices are in pounds and include any VAT. Payment is taken securely at checkout; we never see your card details. Your order is accepted when we email to confirm dispatch. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if an item is unavailable, a price is clearly wrong, or we can no longer legally sell it. Discount codes are one per customer, can’t be combined and may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only, by Royal Mail. Orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days and delivery is free over £25. See Shipping details. If your order hasn’t arrived within 30 days, contact us for a replacement or refund.

6. Returns

For health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of opened products. All sales of opened bottles are final.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, email info@avalonfungi.co.uk with your order number and a photo, and we’ll replace it or refund you. Your legal right to cancel an order of unopened, sealed bottles within 14 days of delivery is not affected; to use it, email us within that time and return them unopened at your own cost, and we’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving them.

7. Product availability

UK rules on which mushrooms can be sold may change. If a product can no longer legally be sold, we may withdraw it and refund any unfulfilled orders. See our novel foods page.

8. Reselling

Our products are for personal use and may not be resold without our written permission.

9. Liability

Please use our products only as directed on the label. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any loss, injury or reaction resulting from use that does not follow the label directions and warnings, including exceeding the recommended daily dose, use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, use alongside medication without first consulting your GP, or use despite an allergy or sensitivity to a listed ingredient.
  • We make no promise about how any product will affect you, as individual responses vary. We are not liable if a product doesn’t meet your personal expectations.
  • Information on our website, social media and journal is for general interest only. We are not liable for any decision you make based on it.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, business or opportunity.
  • Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
