1. What we collect
Your name, email, phone number, addresses and order details when you buy from us; anything you send us through the contact form; and basic technical data such as your IP address and browser. We don’t ask for health information. If you choose to tell us about a health matter, we only use it to reply to you.
2. How we use it
To process and deliver your order and handle any problems (to fulfil our contract with you); to reply to messages (our legitimate interest); to keep tax records (legal obligation); and to send marketing emails only if you’ve opted in (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
3. Who we share it with
Only the providers we need to run the shop: our payment providers, Royal Mail, our website host and shop software, our email provider if you’ve signed up for emails, and our accountant. Some may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards. Payments are handled by the payment provider; we never see your card details.
4. Cookies
Essential cookies run the basket and checkout. Cookies that record how you found our site are only set if you click Accept on our cookie banner. You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page.
5. How long we keep it
Order records for 6 years (for tax), messages for 2 years, and marketing details until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@avalonfungi.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
